well, for any of those people who read, a pre-face is your introduction to the world....so this is my clean slate and venting dwell that i choose to make my pre-face.
a little background information on me....[past] i'm definitely an 80's baby (GOD created me beautifully in 1982)....product of a teacher and a basketball coach (my parents wear many hats though)....women of color (mixed with a little different races as we all are; mainly african-american)....the youngest sibling on both sides (only girl on mom's/youngest girl on dad's)....college grad in 2005 (b.a. - psychology)....250% Capricorn (same day of birth as the lovely MJB)....lesbian (been loving the ladies since 1998)....[present] pet lover (gotta love my 1 yr old puggle - Apollo)....current grad student (m.s. - human services administration tentatively spring/fall 09')....baltimorean (born and raised)....in a relationship (known her since 1998; re-acquainted (on/off) since 2005)....blackberry girl (it is my life literally)....technology geek (you name it, i know about it or want it)....ipod lover (music soothes my soul)....employed by the state of MD (djs)....[future] is in the works....
(now that we've got that out of the way) if i ever did decide to write a book, i wondered what it would look like:....
"during these last years of my life, i have learned many things about myself....out of all the things that I have learned, the most important lesson of them all is that I am human....there will be some days where i will laugh....there will be some days that i will cry....there will be some days where i will be misunderstood....there are other days where i will misunderstand other's.....there will be many days where i will speak the truth....there will be many days where i will keep quiet....there will be some days where i will say no and there will be other days where i say yes....as long as I am simply myself, and continue to look/listen to GOD than nothing else shall matter"....
"to all the people who have allowed me to create this work i call my life, i thank you.....despite what experiences that we had, they made me stronger and more humane to understanding how people in society really are....to all of my friend's, i appreciate whatever i learned from you and i thank you for allowing me to be in your life for one reason or another....to all of my ex's, you are that for a reason....some of you, i still keep in contact with which is a good thing because it shows how much we have grown...the other's, it is what it is....to all of the people who i let go or stop dealing with me, it is cool because i know that we were in each other's life for a season and i appreciate you regardless"....
"i realize now that i am in the photography stage in my life....where every picture captures a candid moment....one thing i know for sure is that i am wiping the slate clean and working on the things that matter to me most"....
"each day i plan to update this for i am on a 40day journey to peace/prosperity/patience/etc....keep checking back for more things....i am on a mission for a life-whole intervention where i am shaking things up to get positive/peaceful result"s....
TOMORROW is the start of a new phase and a new chapter.....let the games begin.....
